Another great show from the Cross Culture Festival. Right after Ivan Lins' romantic showcase the stage was taken over by Concha Buika, Spanish singer originating from Guinea. From the very first notes the audience felt completely under her spell and remained in awe until the last sound was heard. Her deeply sensual and “smoky” voice reminded me of Cesaria Evora or other classic female vocalists – the concert keeps playing in my head and I'm really happy I could be there.
