There’s no other band like the Warsaw Village Band (“Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa”). Their invaluable contribution to the true revival of Polish folk roots is on par with the refreshing blast of creativity brought into the genre. In 2004 the band won BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music prize as the “Newcomers” and pursued with their career since then, releasing three highly acclaimed albums.
