Wroclaw’s One Love Festival stands as a spark of joy enlightening the dull and monotonous autumn months. Offering a steady mix between modern reggae and the Jamaican classics, the festival became one of the most popular indoor reggae events in Europe. This year we had a chance to see the veteran roots singer Pablo Moses, for whom it was a first visit in Poland. Having seen Moses before performing at Summerjam, I was excited to meet the author of “Dubbing Is a Must” anthem again.

Technical info: the stage was over two meters high and it was hard to get a nice-looking angle even with a two-step ladder (and the monitors at the edge didn’t help either). Even though the lighting looked like a good setup, the good light itself was scarce. Had the stage been lower, I’d at least have a chance to play with the primes. Instead, I had to hunt for the bare minimum with 80-200 mostly working at the long end.
