I couldn’t miss another occasion to hear the vetern roots singer Ijahman Levi live and in the club venue for the very first time. The mini-tour over Poland organized by Buxna Agency spanned Wroclaw and Warsaw and was reinforced by recognized Jamaican artists Fantan Mojah and I Wayne and a short set by Marlene Johnson.
The setlist comprised Ijahman’s greatest songs, including “Witness”, "Africa", ‘Ring The Alarm” and extended, combined versions of classic “Jah Heavy Load” and “Moulding”. Technical side: the photo pit was almost empty and the conditions were just terrific, thanks to a varied lights configuration and skillfully dosed stage smoke. I juggled between Nikkor 80-200/2.8 and 24-70/2.8, but also had enough time to try the portrait 85/1.8, which once again proved to be a damn sharp piece of a glass.

Taking a short break before the Spring begins for good. Finally bought
another SB-700 to experiment with strobing; also I got upset with CaptureNX's
slowness... considering change to Lightroom. New galleries soon!
