Depressing and beautiful: Joy Division's "Closer" was released exactly thirty years ago. As a tribute to the timeless band, group of Polish alternative musicians formed a project "Heart & Soul" that will last for only few concerts. One of the shows took place in my favourite radio studio in Trójka premises.
As a huge fan of Joy Division and Ian Curtis' work, I felt obliged to photograph this show. However, the music side was a bit rough: one could clearly feel (and hear) that the band is lacking the harmony and having trouble with the lyrics. The brightest side? Definitely Łukasz Lach (L.Stadt), who's vocal resembled Ian's haunting timbre.

Taking a short break before the Spring begins for good. Finally bought
another SB-700 to experiment with strobing; also I got upset with CaptureNX's
slowness... considering change to Lightroom. New galleries soon!
