short bio

My father is a musician and most of his friends are, too. Earliest recollections from my childhood are guitar jams next room, while I was trying to get some sleep. It didn't help much in my musical education, though. I ended up as a lousy player who can hardly put a couple of chords together.

My mom, on the other hand, is an artist - the lovely smell of turpentine and sticks of charcoal were my long-time friends. Again, not gifted enough, however I can draw something that resembles a dog (at least for my two years old daughter).

Nevertheless, I had never stopped loving neither music nor art, and was still looking for a neat way of incorporating these two into my life. No surprise it came through photography, as in zillion other stories. I simply picked up a camera, shot a couple of rolls of film, then moved to digital. My current gear is a full frame Nikon DSLR.

My favorite genre is reggae, but I also enjoy good rock and alternative music. A lot of my work gets published on Reggaenet.pl portal, I also run a periodical photo column in Free Colours magazine.
